Using Notes Templates in Tradervue

For traders who consistently use specific notes for their trades or journal entries, Tradervue offers a convenient solution. Instead of manually copying and pasting notes each time, you can set up templates to automatically populate your notes with a predefined set of fields.

How to set up Notes Templates

1. Log in to your Tradervue account.
2. Navigate to Settings.
3. Go to the Notes Templates Tab.

• Here, you can create and customize your templates according to your needs.

Applying your custom Template

Once your template is set up:

• Your custom template will be automatically applied to new trades or journal entries upon import or creation.

Important Note

• Generic vs. Custom Templates: The ‘Insert Notes Template’ button on the right side of the square in the Journal or Trades section applies a default generic template. It will not apply the custom template you have saved in your settings. To ensure that your custom template is used, make sure it is correctly set up in the Notes Templates section of your Settings.

By using Notes Templates, you can streamline your process and ensure that important details are consistently recorded in your trades and journal entries.
