Trade Import Quota
Tradervue provides different plans for importing trades, each with its own limits and features. Users on the free plan have a monthly import limit of 30 trades. This guide explains how trades are counted, how they are imported, and what to do if you exceed your quota.
How Trades Are Counted:
- Trade Grouping: Tradervue groups executions into logical trades. The quota of 30 trades refers to these grouped trades, not the individual executions. This means you could import thousands of executions if they are consolidated into fewer than 30 logical trades.
- Trade Count: The 30-trade limit applies per calendar month. The count is not based on the execution dates but on the number of trades you import within the month.
Importing Trades:
- Order of Import: When importing a file with a large number of trades, Tradervue sorts them first by symbol (as they appear in the file) and then by date (oldest to newest). If the import exceeds 30 trades, some trades may not be imported.
- Managing Imports: To ensure all trades are imported, consider splitting your data into smaller chunks by date. This approach helps keep each import under the 30-trade limit and ensures complete data transfer for each batch.
Handling Quota Exceedance:
- Partial Imports: If your import exceeds the 30-trade limit and only a portion of your trades are imported, you can complete the import by re-importing the same file after upgrading your plan or at the start of a new month. Tradervue will seamlessly import the remaining trades.
- Upgrading Plans: If you frequently need to import more than 30 trades per month, consider upgrading to the Silver or Gold plans. These plans offer unlimited trade imports and can accommodate larger volumes of trade data.
Additional Information:
- Data Integrity: In certain situations, Tradervue may import more than 30 trades to ensure data integrity. This exception is made to maintain the accuracy and completeness of your trading data.
- Plan Upgrades: For users on Silver and Gold plans, there is no limit on the number of trades you can import. View our plans to find the one that best fits your trading needs.
